2-1-1 WNC is an AIRS accredited agency committed to continual updates of the resource database to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.

We need your help!  If you are connected with an organization that lists with 2-1-1, you can help us in the following ways:

1.  Please respond promptly when you receive a request from 2-1-1 for your annual update.  We'll be emailing out hundreds of update requests in the next few weeks.

2.  Let us know when you have changes throughout the year (new hours, contact people, services, etc.)

You can view your organization's listing on 2-1-1's searchable online database.  It's easy to update anytime by following these instructions.

If you have questions, contact Patty McGovern, 2-1-1 Data Manager, at patty.mcgovern@unitedwayabc.org or (828) 239-1034.
Income Tax Help tax forms

Before you or your clients pay to have your taxes done, consider this: households earning less than $40,000 per year may qualify to receive free tax preparation and may also qualify for Earned Income Tax Credits, which means keeping more money in the pockets of people who need it most.

Free tax preparation sites are available throughout the area for low and moderate income people.  The experts at these sites can help people file their taxes at no cost in order to avoid high filing fees, and they can help people file for Earned Income Tax Credits.

2-1-1 can link you to tax preparation sites and other helpful financial resources.  For more information, call 2-1-1.
