Poverty GuidelinesNew Federal Poverty Guidelines

New Federal Poverty Guidelines have been issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  These guidelines will be implemented on April 1 and will be adopted by service providers on a rolling basis throughout the coming year. The guidelines are used to determine income eligibility for many local, state, and federal programs. Programs using the guidelines include SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as Food Stamps) and the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program. The new guidelines can be found here.
